Saudi Arabian Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman has informed President Trump of the kingdom’s intention to deepen its economic ties with the United States over the next four years, aiming to increase investments and trade relations by at least $600 billion.

The announcement was reported by the Saudi State news agency early Thursday. The crown prince stated that the Trump administration’s anticipated reforms could pave the way for “unprecedented economic prosperity.”

The report highlighted Saudi Arabia’s intent to align its investments with these favorable conditions. It did not specify the source of the funds or their planned allocation. The crown prince reportedly told Trump that the investment “could increase further if additional opportunities arise.”

During his first term, Trump cultivated strong ties with Saudi Arabia. After leaving office, Saudi Arabia invested $2 billion in a private equity firm founded by Jared Kushner, Trump’s son-in-law and former aide.
