Ratcliffe: Durham Annex, Recent Testimonies Could Support Prosecution of Russiagate Figures

by | Jul 28, 2025

CIA Director John Ratcliffe suggested Sunday that the statute of limitations is unlikely to shield key players in the Trump-Russia investigation from prosecution, citing recent sworn testimony and the impending release of the classified Durham Annex as potential grounds for indictments.

In an interview with Maria Bartiromo on Sunday Morning Futures, Ratcliffe pointed to testimony by John Brennan, Hillary Clinton, and James Comey—each given under oath within the past five years—as evidence that remains prosecutable. “All of that’s within the last five years and much of that testimony is frankly completely inconsistent with what our underlying intelligence that is about to be declassified in the Durham Annex reflects,” Ratcliffe said.

He indicated the annex will expose efforts to deliberately inject the discredited Steele Dossier into intelligence community assessments and use it to justify the FBI’s Crossfire Hurricane investigation.

Pressed on whether prosecutions are still viable for Brennan, Comey, and Clinton, Ratcliffe confirmed, “That’s why I’ve made the referrals that I have,” adding that current Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard has also submitted referrals. He said both officials are continuing to share intelligence with the Justice Department that could support criminal charges tied to this coordinated hoax against the American public.
