Iran Signs $25 Billion Deal With Russia to Build Four Nuclear Power Plants

Iran has signed a $25 billion agreement with Russia’s state-owned nuclear corporation Rosatom to build four nuclear power plants in the country, Iran’s IRNA news agency reported Friday.

 

Rosatom confirmed earlier this week that it signed a memorandum of understanding with Tehran for the construction of small nuclear power plants but did not specify how many facilities were planned.
