House Committee invites Nathan Wade to privately testify

by | May 9, 2024

The House Judiciary Committee, led by Republican Chairman Jim Jordan, has invited former Fulton County special prosecutor Nathan Wade to testify privately regarding his association with DA Fani Willis.

In a letter dated Thursday, U.S. Rep. Jordan requested Wade's presence for an interview and requested the submission of various documents pertaining to his involvement in the Georgia election interference case.

Jordan referenced accusations suggesting that Wade and Willis benefited from the obvious politically motivated prosecution of President Trump and his 14 other codefendants.

Willis and Wade stated that their romantic relationship started after Willis hired Wade and ended last summer. They testified that they shared travel expenses equally and maintained that their relationship did not create a conflict of interest.
