Barron Trump, the youngest child of President Trump, despite mostly staying out of the political limelight, was selected by the Republican Party of Florida on Wednesday night to serve as one of the state's at-large delegates to the Republican National Convention.
Both Eric and Donald Jr. are also set to serve as Florida at-large RNC delegates, along with Trump's daughter Tiffany.
In addition to Trump family members, the Florida GOP endorsed several of Trump’s key supporters to serve as RNC at-large delegates.
Additional individuals approved as RNC at-large delegates by the Florida GOP include Kimberly Guilfoyle, fiancée of Donald Trump Jr.; Michael Boulous, husband of Tiffany Trump; longtime Trump adviser Sergio Gor; former state Attorney General Pam Bondi, a longstanding Trump ally involved with pro-Trump super PACs; former Marvel Entertainment Chairman Ike Perlmutter, a notable Trump donor; as well as a group of state-level Republican politicians who endorsed Trump over DeSantis.
President Trump has secured victory in the state twice, and the state party has overwhelmingly rallied behind his presidential bid this year, even prior to his formal nomination.
Amidst a family known for its politically active children, Barron Trump, who celebrated his 18th birthday in March, has maintained a significantly more private life compared to his older brothers, Eric Trump and Donald Trump Jr.
