AFL unveils internal notes from disbanded DHS group, launches #DeepStateDiaries

by | Jun 20, 2024

Following its significant victory in disbanding the Department of Homeland Security’s (DHS) “Homeland Intelligence Experts Group,” America First Legal announced it has exclusively obtained the group’s internal meeting notes. AFL plans to release these documents in a multi-part series titled #DeepStateDiaries in the coming days.

This group, which included deep state figures such as James Clapper and John Brennan, was created in violation of the Federal Advisory Committee Act. Its disbandment resulted from a lawsuit filed by AFL on behalf of former Ambassador and Acting Director of National Intelligence Ric Grenell.

The newly obtained documents expose the group’s blatant partisanship and reveal the disdain some members of the Biden Administration’s allies hold for Americans with differing political views. The documents also highlight an alleged effort by the left to influence public opinion.

Key revelations from these documents include discussions by the Brennan and Clapper committee including:

– Encouraging “mothers and teachers” to report their neighbors to federal authorities;

– Using corporate America to gather intelligence on citizens;

– Exploiting events like January 6 and the Mar-a-Lago raid as pretexts for monitoring conservatives and Trump supporters;

– Implementing a comprehensive government strategy to surveil, silence, and intimidate conservative Americans;

– And additional insights into the inner workings of the so-called “Deep State.”

AFL asserts that these documents will demonstrate how, under the pretense of “preventing domestic terrorism,” the Biden Administration has orchestrated a broad government effort—employing classified systems and covert techniques—to target conservatives, undermine the political process, and conduct influence operations within the United States.
